கர்ணனின்  பொய்யான  விளம்பரமும்  தவறான தகவல்களும்

  1. My dear Devotees....

Please Do not Blabber....Karnan was never a failure anytime !! Karnan in 1964 had run over hundred days in Shanti, Sayani and Prabhat in Chennai and Madurai Thangam with a seating capacity of 2538 seats which is a humungous record. And to accomodate Pachchai Vilakku, which was already signed contracted, Karnan had to accomodate it, in 80 plus days. People are not hesitating to spend 150 rupees even today and it has crossed 50 days of its re-release in 14 centers and will cross 50 days in another 15 centers other than the 14 shortly.... Do not Fume over the sucess. In any business, people who invest will always advertise...to make money...ok...Do not project false information ever...Every Actor has his own share in the film industry and your MGR is not an omnipotent hero...he started his career in 1948 and till 1977 he was acting. The Total movies he had acted was only 136 out of which major producers are Sathya Movies (Mr.MGR's own banner) and Thevar Films. Ennamoe...Thamizh Thiraiulagathai MGR Tholl mayla irundha maadhiri overaa scene podadheenga...! Try to publish authentic proofs than giving a verbal diarrhoea..

  3. Who is blabbering, perssons who are STILL not able to digest the undisputed populatiy of Thalaivar[MGR].

As regards the comment "people who invest WILL always advertise". the old saying is that a good product does not require any Ad, it will sell on its own!

We are very satisfied if persons have learned many a things just by seeing NT perform on screen and by the message he has passed on to the society through his characters!

Our Thalaivar is the only "Man of the Masses', his films are released, where ever there is Tamil population, throughtout the Country. The success of his films, including the screening of the worst prints' is unparalled till date.

Let NT fans continue to enjoy his films and keep writing praising his acting capabilities. However they should abstain from commenting about the Box Officer Emperor.

We need to retaliate if NT fans do not mend their ways.

  4. very good reply. By repeating a lie many times they are trying to establish a flop movie as a hit one. But contemporary people always know the truth

    1. Dear Subramanian,

Both the films Vettaikaran and Karnan were released on 14.1.1964 (Pongal Day). Initially, both were running with packed houses. After 50 days, Vettaikaran was still pulling the crowd in all the three theatres in Chennai and other cities also, being a thrash one and Karnan being a character of Epic Mahabhartha, people does not like to see once more and hence running but not with houseful shows. This was witnessed by the producer and director B.R. Panthulu and he said the collection was not even nearer to the production cost and became a heavy debtor. At this juncture, I wish to cite an example happened in Hindi cinema. Producer and Director Guru Dutt made a film ‘Kagaz ke Phool’ the first cinemascope film in Indian Film Industry for which his counterparts in Hindi advised him to drop such a project. But Guru Dutt said this film was made for his own satisfaction and if fail at the box office hit he will take sanyas from directing the films. Though it was considered a best classical film, commercially a failure one and thereafter he never directed any film. Similarly, Raj Kapoor tasted the same type of humiliation after producing ‘Mera Naam Joker’ in 1970. However, in the case of B.R. Panthulu in turn, after watching the all time record of ‘Enga Veetu Pillai, which celebrated Silver Jubilee in 7 theatres, approached MGR and explained about his debts and the outcome was ‘Ayirathil Oruvan’ in the same year 1965, a resounding successful one, through which he was free out of debts and turned a resourceful producer. Thereafter, he never turned towards Shivaji, through him he produced a number of films. That was the bitter experience to B.R.P. and now that you have come to alter the entire history of the 1964-65. You can console yourself saying that now it is running successfully at least, but never say about the past. Your saying ‘andrum’ is a splendid lie.

The proven track records of the past cannot be changed by anybody now. One can dream for the future and never for the past. B.R. Pandhulu, MT and NT are not alive now. What had happened in 1964 was known not only to the above three, but also crores of people (Fans of both, neutral viewers, common people) of T.N. Why you alone want to give a news today. The history of 1964 was discussed / debated many times in those days by both Fans. Atlast, they were half-heartedly accepted the fact, because Fans of those days will not wholeheartedly accept the fact. It's a quality of Fans. I have witnessed many a time the NT fans do lament what is there in MT films, those films are running these many days. NT films were released one after another continuously as a result half of them were turned flops including better ones. It was not a fault on MT Fans. You should accept the views of the Mass. Acting alone is not going to fetch good results. All other aspects such as skill of the directors, songs, music, camera technology, etc. all should go hand in hand. Even with all the above aspects, sometimes most of the films were turned flops. People's taste on films also differ from time to time. Get convinced with the Mass, which may be right or wrong.

  5. Dear Sir,
It is a known fact that, we, the MGR Fans have the tolerance, courage, dedication and devotion to our mentor, with which MGR had high hope on his Fans. He had setback thrice in his life, which were all turned to be blessing in disguise for him with the thumping support of his Fans. MGR films were running packed in all the cities, towns and villages, which were unparallel in Tamil Nadu. If, the same kind of setbacks, firstly and particularly, bullet wound on his neck, which pulled his wonderful voice, even then he was paid with the highest salary than all others including Shivaji. If the voice of Shivaji would have become as that of MGR, Shivaji would have disappeared from the scene. In spite of all obstacles MGR films surpassed his own previous records one after other consecutively. The most of the movies became super hits and mega hits which thronged the Cities, towns and villages. If MGR would have acted in all the films, which were offered to him, he would have even touched the number 200 and above. Being the Idhayakani of Perarigner Anna, he rejected number of films due to his intervention and propagation of the principles of DMK Party, which were went to Shivaji, Ravichandran, Jai Shanker etc. Secondly, when he was expelled from DMK, the Evil force disturbed him terribly but he was able to withstand and retaliate with the candid support of the faithful Fans and ultimately they lifted Him to become the Chief Minister of the State. He was elected five times with the overwhelming majority of votes as Member of the Legislative Assembly. During those period, I had seen the true Shivaji fans accepted their own folly and insincerity towards Shivaji when he was sidelined by the Congress Party, and not even once they made him Member of the Legislative Assembly instead he lost the seat in his own native place with a margin of more than 10,000 votes. There is no more reason to point out about their unfaithfulness and ultimately betrayed their mentor. This being the actual cause of Shivaji’s failure in politics and films to some extent, now very few blow trumpet much about their humiliation and defeats as proven track records. The people’s choice was MGR in films as well as politics than others.
